Loved it! I've never been to anything quite like this... I didn't want it to end and I'm sad that it won't be on again (for a while at least). Beautiful music. Beautiful movements. Beautiful nutrition. Beautiful space. Beautiful bodies and souls. Thank you to all the organisers, crafter's and wave builders -it was a joy to surf! The live music was magical!
A beautifully held space with very strong, warm, enlivening, invigorating energy. I was filled with a feeling joy and a knowing that this was going to be a safe, beautiful and powerful journey, from the moment we walked into the space. The sound bath was very special and having gone to gong baths before I liked this even more, with the guitar and song, plus guided intention setting, prayer making. I loved the medicine movement and the guidance at every stage. I loved the overall order and unfolding of the evening, with faster trance later on. Worked perfectly for me. People were beautiful. I loved the odd interaction whilst dancing, including laughter and silliness that really helped the flow of things. This down to earth friendliness further reassured me that it was okay to be me a safe and enjoyable space. I loved the candle alter in the centre–this was such a welcome, or necessary even, focal point I felt for me and others. Food (I had the amazing curry) was incredible. The brownies and cacao were heavenly. This was the first time I'd be dancing publicly for a long time and I'd never been to ecstatic dance nights or anything similar. Went to lots of raves and clubs when I was younger so this hugely fed my joy in being able to reconnect with the best of all of that but in a much more healthy way. I feel incredible, a sense of expansiveness and liberation and pure joy. Thank you so much!
Thank you for a wonderful night, the sets were incredible, the building and the set up was beautiful. The altar and its guidance was fantastic. The live music, at the start, finish and throughout enhanced the magic for me! And the café and delicious food was such a nice homely touch. Thank you to all those that made last night possible.
