Faye is praised for emphasizing consent, boundaries, and the freedom for people to express themselves authentically, even if their energy or movement is different from those around them. She is commended for making the events accessible and considering the needs of neurodivergent individuals by providing accommodations like earplugs and avoiding excessive scents. Attendees felt deeply held, cared for, and able to fully let go and connect with the music and their bodies in a way they don't often experience in other spaces. Faye's clear explanations of the event philosophy and format were also appreciated. Overall, Faye is described as an excellent facilitator who cultivates a beautiful, liberating, and transformative experience for the Ecstatic Pride community.

I thought that it was really fun and I thought faye was such a good facilitator. The way the event was set up was very welcoming and I loved how she emphasised that people could be how they needed to be even if the energy around them was different (e.g., because of the music). And I thought it was really helpful how faye explained the philosophy behind ecstatic dance and also helped people feel OK about upholding boundaries etc. Faye put lots of thought into how it could be more neuro divergent friendly by considering strong scents and providing earplugs etc. Overall though it was a really accepting space and very liberating. It really helped with my mood that week. Thanks so much for the evening, I'll deffo be a repeat visitor <3

Such a beautiful and safe space! As a Queer AFAB person I can sometimes feel worried to express my sensuality/sexuality through dance but felt so held to express my movement freely here! Faye's sharing on consent and giving 'no's' in the space really helped to create a safety container here :) Ecstatic Pride was the most free I have seen people, and felt myself, let loose in a sober space; thankyou so much for such a fun and yummy space!

As a sober autistic individual I find when I'm at clubs and events where these dancing I have my eyes shut to experience the music more and reduce stimulation from other aspects like lights and crowds. Doing this doesn't make me self conscious but there's not a lot of space for neurodiverse people to fully let go and allow themselves to fall into the music as it doesn't feel super safe to not be aware of your surroundings. At ecstatic pride I was able to let go and allow my brain to go mushy for a few hours and letting myself to be free in movement. It brought me so much joy moving in a way that in a lot of other spaces would be deemed as weird. I don't care about judgement but I care about safety. I felt so safe at ecstatic pride. I found the choice of lighting ND friendly, having it dark as soon as you go in and remaining that way throughout was great. I enjoyed having the coloured lights dancing with us. Warning us in the email ahead of time that some might find it loud was good, might be nice potentially if some foam earplugs could be available just in case someone forgets to bring some or find it overwhelming in the moment. I liked as well in the email the breakdown of exactly what to expect and who would be present. I liked that the intro clarified that whatever you feel is this space is good and welcomed and there isn't any rules to movement. It was my first time with my friend who has been to one previously and we are looking forward to attending again!!

Good fun in a well held, safe space

The music set and sound bath were great. It was really helpful to have the dance warm-up led by Gaia before the opening circle. This helped me feel more connected with people and better regulated

Lush tunes!

I would welcome a more concise, brief opening and closing circle.
