Hi there,
One of my favourite things Will Duncan shared about his 3 year silent retreat are his observations about mood:
He used to think he was happy or sad, angry or accepting based on what happened in life.
But on retreat every day was exactly the same. He was doing what he loved, in a place he loved, with the exact same routine.
Yet one week he was happy, one week he was sad. One moment anxious, another accepting.
Turns out the pendulum swing between the bliss and the blues can have far more to do with what goes on inside than we normally think.
This isn't to deny the impact of life's major events. But whether in silence and solitude or the sound and fury, we're confronted by the turbulence of being alive.
How to navigate this reality?
Will joins us today to share some helpful insights from his own life, and from his 40 years study and meditation of Buddhism. This tradition, in particular, has paid close attention to the challenges of change, and how to navigate groundless states that we can encounter in meditation, psychedelics and daily life.

I hope to see you there!
