Hi there,
Since its inception, and inspired by psychedelic experiences, the Psychedelic Society has sought to work in a horizontal and co-operative (one might say, mycelial) fashion. At the end of last year, the Psychedelic Society team set the intention to become a full worker co-operative.
We decided to adopt a new name for this next stage of our evolution; a name that would also better contain our diverse and growing array of projects, some of which don't directly relate to psychedelic substances. And so, in February we renamed the company behind the Psychedelic Society from PsychedelicsUK Ltd to Dandelion Collective Ltd.
Dandelions are known as the alchemical flower, representing the unity of opposites and nonlinear change. They conjure images of the sun (in bloom), the moon (in seed) and the stars (when scattered in the wind). They exhibit startling resilience and can grow almost anywhere.

We are delighted to say that we recently received confirmation that Dandelion Collective has been accepted into Coops UK, the UK's membership body for co-operative organisations, and we now proudly describe ourselves as a not-for-profit worker co-operative.
Dandelion Collective is now the home of:
- The Psychedelic Society, which has a brand new website
- Triptika Studios, our visual media and filmmaking studio
- Our new online organising platform, simply called Dandelion, at dandelion.earth
On Wednesday 5th August, we’re hosting our first-ever simultaneous, nationwide videocalls for all 400 local groups of the Psychedelic Society, organised on Dandelion. It’s your opportunity to videochat with other Psychedelic Society supporters near you on topics that matter. The suggested topic for this first meeting is The Magic of Mushrooms & Growing At Home.

With love,
