Position Title: Volunteer Podcast and Digital Media Producer
Location: Remote
Commitment: Flexible hours, approximately 5-10 hours per week

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled volunteer Podcast and Digital Media Producer to help manage and promote the content of the Adventures in Awareness YouTube channel. The channel features inspiring conversations from thinkers like Richard Lang, Bernardo Kastrup, and Rupert Spira, with topics including meditation, nonduality, and metaphysics. This role is perfect for someone enthusiastic about these themes and eager to contribute creatively to content production and promotion. We're low on funds right now, but there is potential for this position to transition into a paid role in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Podcast Production:
  • Edit recorded conversations into high-quality podcast episodes (e.g., cleaning audio, adding intro/outro music).
  • Ensure podcast episodes are prepared for distribution across platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
• YouTube and Video Production:
  • Edit video content for YouTube, including adding engaging visuals, titles, and thumbnails.
  • Upload and manage content on YouTube with proper tagging, descriptions, and promotion strategies.
• Content Promotion:
  • Promote podcast episodes and YouTube content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok).
  • Create engaging social media posts to boost engagement and attract new listeners and viewers.
  • Manage feedback and interactions with online followers.
• Digital Marketing:
  • Monitor content performance using analytics and adjust promotion strategies as needed.
  • Research and recommend best practices for audience growth.

Requirements:

• A basic understanding and passion for the theme and audience
• Experience with audio editing software (Audacity, Adobe Audition, etc.).
• Familiarity with video editing tools (iMovie, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Basic knowledge of podcast distribution platforms.
• Experience with YouTube channel management
• Familiarity with podcast distribution platforms
• Social media savvy
• Enthusiasm for the content and themes discussed on Adventures in Awareness (meditation, nonduality, metaphysics).
• Strong understanding of social media marketing and audience engagement.
• Creative mindset and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Desirable:

• Ideas on monetisation
• Previous experience in podcast production, video editing, or digital marketing.
• Familiarity with the topics and audience of this channel.
• Graphic design skills for creating promotional content.
