Hi there,

I've had several friends rave about the incredible power of darkness retreat, but I never found the idea inviting until I saw this short TED talk from Andrew Holecek.

It's short, poetic, evocative and inspiring. Even if you never do a retreat, I think you'll consider darkness in a whole new way after watching.

Imagine doing and seeing nothing for days on end, and thereby confronting your mind minus stimulation. Andrew proposes darkness can be a way of reconnecting with who really are, at many levels:

If this gets you interested, Andrew is holding a workshop and Q&A this coming Wed 26th Nov, 6pm UK time. It will be recorded and sent to everyone registered if you can't make it live:

Tomorrow, Tues 25th, is the dialogue between DMT researcher Christopher Timmermann and idealist philosopher Bernardo Kastrup, on why the most powerful psychedelic often changes how people think about reality. Christopher will also present new research on experiences of ‘pure consciousness’:

Also coming up we have the world's leading Jungian analyst discuss meaning and reality with the world's leading idealist philosopher.

If you're in London, Bohm Dialogue is an opportunity to find new ways to communicate and discover. This tends to sell out, so book early if you want to join.

I hope to see you soon!
