Hi there,

I'm quite excited to have arranged something special: a chance to meditate on awareness and then move freely to live improvised music.

I know a combination of meditation and movement is common in many cultures and religions.

But none of the existing offers in London (that I know about) are the perfect fit. Either they don't include a rich contemplative time where the body is relatively still. Or the movement is very prescribed, without the chance to freely express something that a formula can't contain.

I wasn't sure how to find the right musicians for this project, so was delighted to chance upon Hali's sufi-inspired vibes in Hyde Park and was transported by his multi-instrument improvisation over 3 sublime hours.

So if you would like to try something different, you can join us tonight at 7pm at the Meditatio centre near Angel.

In the next few days we also have the luxury of Shamil Chandaria and then Rupert Spira with Bernardo Kastrup, and in a few weeks' time Richard Lang is back offering Headless Way workshops at his home.

See you soon I hope!
