Matriarchal Activism: Combining Witchcraft, Tantra and Magick for Environmental Action

I was one of those burnt out activists for a  long time and didn't want to get involved anymore  - and now I've discovered a way to do something positive that is wholesome, connected to the body, magical and  will be as effective as changing the laws. 

Overview:

Join us in this sacred activism designed exclusively for women and folk in female bodies from all walks of life who want to contribute to a positive future. We are going to blend ancient wisdom from indigenous cultures, tantric traditions and witchcraft with contemporary activism to direct our energies toward positive global outcomes.

Sacred Activism:

Sacred activism integrates spiritual practices with direct action known in social change movements. We are stepping into the legacies of spiritual movements builders, including Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., Thich Nhat Hanh, and the Dalai Lama.  Sacred activism encourages us to embody our spiritual values in every action we take, participating in a compassionate revolution that encompasses all beings and respects the delicate balance of the Earth. 

In this immersive workshop, we're combining witchcraft and chaos magick with sexual energy, and the yogic and tantric philosophy of the chakras, as well as intention experiments in the quantum healing field, shamanic traditions and contemporary climate science. 

Philosophy & Content: 

Once we stop being in denial about how badly climate change is already and increasingly will impact us and life on Earth, we are free. 

For me, freedom means to give myself permission to stop saving the world. 

Instead, I share the love, and I am inviting you to join me in the most delicious, pleasurable way. 

Topics we'll talk about to understand the philosophy behind this idea include:

• Understanding the role of energy as a force for positive change
• Learning about the Intention experiment to foster peace in SriLanka, created by Lynn McTaggart
• Insights from thought leaders like Jem Bendell on systemic collapse and mass extinction, and Charles Eisenstein on mysticism and the role of the other than human world in the global change, as well as John Wheeler's philosophy of the participatory universe.
• Mystery Teachings on this time of the Great Turning; and why our purpose right now is to bring love into matter

For the practical part of the workshop we'll dive into ritual space and set a clear intention for the energy work to begin. 

All energy work must be in alignment with the highest good for all beings on Earth, and in alignment to truth. 

Each month, we might focus on a different area, such as repairing water cycles, planting forests, rain in the Amazon rain forest, envisioning the growth of conscious, self-sustaining communities, and addressing methane emissions.

We will briefly describe why this subject deserves our attention and then will clearly outline how we envision transformation in this subject.

Workshop Experience:

After an initial opening ritual and talk about the philosophy and background of this work, we'll open the ritual space and drop into our collective intentions and vision of the future. 

The practice will guide you through activating your sexual energy, moving it through the chakras, and channeling it into the cosmos, before drawing it back into your body. 

This one hour-long practice aims to empower and elevate you, and to collectively tap into the energy that desires life to continue thriving on Earth. 

That is one of the most important aspects for humanity right now - to feel life desiring life itself.
