After a 3 month hiatus, Ecstatic Dance Bristol returns weekly! Dancing in nature: on the earth, in the sun, with the elements!

Please note the brand new timings. We will now be starting at 15:00 in the afternoon!

We will continue on in Bristol fashion with high grade amplified music, powered by the one and only HoneyFlower Soundsystem.

HEALTH, SAFETY & WELLBEING

As an organised outdoor physical activity, our events are fully compliant with the latest government regulations and we have full permission from Bristol City Council to run our Ecstatic Dance sessions on The Downs. Our sessions are covid-secure and respect social distancing measures.

We ask all participants to take responsibility for themselves; and to be sensitive, considerate and respectful of others. If you are experiencing any symptoms of covid-19 (check here: http://nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms) then please stay at home, rest and be well.

WHAT TO BRING

- water & your own bottle
- a lightweight rain jacket (in case of rain)
- warm clothes (dress in layers & according to weather)
- anything else you need

ECSTATIC DANCE

Ecstatic Dance is about self-expression through free-form dance and movement. It’s a movement meditation which brings together the awareness of heart, body and mind; authentically connecting with self and others.

Our events are family friendly. Everyone and all abilities are welcome. 

We use the following guidelines to create a safe, held and sacred space for you to express, expand and experience rejuvenation through movement, dance and sound:

- be here: no shoes
- be free: dance how you want / no judgement
- be present: no phones / cameras
- be clear: no intoxicants
- be embodied: no talking
- be consensual: respect boundaries / be aware of your own personal space and that of others

Pay-it-Forward

£17.50 (+50p booking fee)

This scheme allows people who are financially comfortable, to pay towards the ticket of a dancer who is not so financially abundant. Every 1 x ‘Pay-It-Forward’ ticket bought, creates 1 x ‘Concession’ ticket. Please support this scheme if you’re able to.

Concession

£12.50 (+50p booking fee)

These tickets, part funded by our 'Pay-It-Forward' scheme, will be released 48 hours before the event - please only choose this ticket type if you really need it

 

Please Note

- we don't offer any refunds, but we can transfer your ticket to a future event if you notify us up to 48 hours before the event

- in case of heavy rain, the event will be postponed and your ticket will be transferable to a date of your choice

- by purchasing a ticket you agree that Ecstatic Dance Bristol is not liable for any injury you may incur at this event (dancing as you feel to, on the grass outdoors) and you agree to take full responsibility for yourself, your well-being and your belongings
