Wahoo! We're taking our Sunday sessions indoors! We're SUPER, ULTRA, MEGA excited about this! This is EDB's first indoor Sunday session we've held in over 3 years!

It's time to reclaim our Sunday risings and go fully in, fully out and full spectrum. To come into balance and alignment. Who's joining!?

Uniting the worlds of free-form movement, diverse dance music and sound system culture, we create safe, held and sacred spaces for you to express your uniqueness, to come to balance with the full spectrum of yourself, and to rejuvenate and empower yourself, through movement, dance and sound.

The experience is a modern day ritual where the communion of people, movement and sound serve as mediums for transformation, liberation and soul invigorating celebration. These sessions are sober and are suitable for all ages, all abilities and all people. Everyone is welcome. 

This is our practice. Our dance. Our prayer. Our ceremony. Our ritual.

RICHARD BATTS is the co-founder of the pioneering Ecstatic Dance UK in London. A pillar and powerful driving force of the ever growing Ecstatic Dance community here in England.

Music and all its variety and beauty has always been Richard's primary passion. Music is LIFE! He is creating expansive, conscious experiences through Ecstatic Dance, music and song, movement meditation, yoga, self development and mindfulness.

Expect Electronica, big beats, Neo-Classical bliss, emotional, melodic House, Techno and Bass, along with ambience and peak moment catharsis. With a healthy dose of Tribal, and a sprinkle of drums and World Music, Richard's eclectic recipe creates a truly powerful, magic carpet ride…

MICRO RAVE SOUNDSYSTEM

The amazing hand built, portable sound system from the legendary Laurie of Micro Rave. Used as an incredible roaming sound system at festivals like Glastonbury, Shambala, Boomtown, Secret Garden Party and others.

WHAT TO BRING

- your own water bottle
- dress in layers
- ear plugs - if you feel you need them (the sound system can get loud at times)
- something to lie down on for the Sound Bath (blanket, yoga mat or similar)
- anything else you need

We ask all attendees to take responsibility for themselves; and to be sensitive, considerate and respectful of others.

ECSTATIC DANCE GUIDELINES

Ecstatic Dance is self-expression through free-form dance and movement. It’s an embodiment practice which brings awareness to and connects together heart, mind, body and soul; authentically connecting with your whole self and authentically connecting with others.

Our events are family friendly. All people and all abilities are welcome. 

We use the following guidelines to create a safe and held space for you to express the full spectrum of yourself, to express your uniqueness and to experience rejuvenation through movement, dance and sound:

- be here: no shoes
- be free: dance how you want / no judgement
- be present: no phones / cameras
- be clear: no drugs or alcohol
- be embodied: no talking
- be consensual: respect personal space & boundaries of self & others

£15 General Admission  (+50p bf)

£17.50 Pay-it-Forward (+50p bf)

This scheme allows people who are financially comfortable, to pay towards the ticket of a dancer who is not so financially abundant.

£12.50 Concession (+50p bf)

Limited tickets part funded by our 'Pay-It-Forward' scheme. Please only choose this ticket type if you really need it.

£17.50 Upon Arrival (cash or card)

Teens £7 (+50p bf) / £7.50 On The Door

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult 

Under 12s free

PLEASE NOTE

If you've purchased a ticket, the transaction has gone through and you haven't received a confirmation email, then please email OSARA. Alternatively, you can simply turn up and give your name on the door as we have the list of everyone who has bought a ticket.

REFUNDS & TRANSFERS

We don't offer refunds, so you can either sell your ticket via the BRISTOL MUSIC, DANCE & SOUND community group on Signal (please email OSARA for the link) OR using ticketswap.uk and sharing the link on our Facebook event page OR you can transfer your ticket to a future event if you notify us up to 48 hours before the event

You are invited to show up as you are and move whatever is alive within you. The full spectrum of yourself. It’s all welcome on the dance floor.
