Sarek Wilderness Walk - Lapland September (14-20)

How to gain confidence when fear of the unknown is just as real? What do anxiety and peace have in common?  It's autumn in Lapland, when summer’s almost gone, and winter is knocking on the door – far away yet so close.

 Come and join us. we're organizing an experience that fits into a week-long adventure. The third week of September - you need to be free  September 13-21. Start and end dates may shift +/- one day depending on logistics. 

Program and framework. Kvikkjokk is our base camp, where we settled with the dogs two years ago. Here you can rest and prepare for the trip. First days we’ll  go oon small walks near the village, and we'll also climb a mountain. The big adventure will be  a hike through pristine wilderness,  sleeping in tents. After the hike, rest and landing in Kvikkjokk. You’ll go on a peaceful boat trip on the Tarra delta. 

Difficulty – a willpower and normal physical condition. We walk slowly, with breaks, adjusting the pace among ourselves. However, you need to walk all day and every following day too, as well as carry everything necessary, up to 15 kg weight. Daily distance around 15-20 km. 

Planned route. We'll walk a section of the King's Trail with a peek into Sarek, depending on group dynamics we'll go more off the trails. In total we'll spend 5 days in nature. 

Getting there. – From Stockholm Arlanda by train, I'll help coordinate, buying all compartments together works out cheaper.

 Costs. EUR 670  which includes: accommodation in Kvikkjokk, all meals, transport to the hike start and boat ferries on the route, getting to base camp if we have to adjust the plan. Tents and cooking gear. Boat trip after return to the camp. Not included: transportation to Kvikkjokk, insurance and personal expenses. 

The group - min 3, max 5 people. If don't reach group’s minimum I'll announce this at latest 3 weeks before trip and the paid booking fee will be refunded in full.
