The Matara Centre, with its  tranquil charm, provides the perfect backdrop for this artistic journey. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this course offers a step-by-step approach to painting, focusing on techniques that allow you to bring your subjects to life with fluid brushstrokes and harmonious colours.

You’ll learn how to interpret the intricate details of leaves, branches, blossoms and water, creating beautiful, natural compositions that reflect the magic of the world around us. The workshop is designed for anyone with a love for nature and a desire to express it through art, in a friendly environment where creativity flows freely.

Course Details:

• Learn to paint with watercolour with a short introduction to the basics and techniques
• Beautiful, tranquil setting in the Palm House at The Matara Centre
• Suitable for all levels, from beginners to more experienced artists
• Mixed-gender event, open to everyone
• Materials provided, but feel free to bring your own supplies
• Please bring your own packed lunch and refreshments you desire. Lovely herbal teas will be available throughout the day

There are three payment options, Roots (£15), Bark (£22.50) and Canopy (£30). Pick one of the options that feels right for you in your current financial situation. I wanted this workshop to be as accessible as possible so everyone is able to join in painting in nature!!
