There is an opportunity for an adult client (aged 18+) to experience a
series of seven Supportive Music and Imagery (SMI) sessions at a
reduced rate of £30–£40 per session, depending on what feels
financially comfortable for you. This is offered as part of a music
therapist’s final stage of training in this gentle and creative
modality.

SMI is a music-centred therapy method that invites the client into a
state of relaxation, during which they listen to pre-recorded music
and allow personal imagery to emerge. The experience is supported by
verbal sharing and creative expression using mark making/art creation.

Sessions are 60–70 minutes long and held online on Friday afternoons,
either between 2–4pm or from 5.30pm onwards.

This work is being offered by Laura Wilson, a qualified
HCPC-registered music therapist, currently completing her
certification in SMI.

________________________________

The full journey includes:

An intake questionnaire

One assessment session (modelling the flow of a session)

Six full SMI sessions delivered weekly

⚠️

Please note: due to the structure of this final phase of training,
it is important that you are able to commit to attending weekly
sessions (not fortnightly or ad hoc).
