What is ecstatic dance?

Ecstatic dance is a liberating, alcohol-free experience where there are no choreographed steps and no expectations—only  unbridled self-expression: come as you are, move as you feel.

Ecstasy (from Ancient Greek ἔκστασις ékstasis) is a subjective experience of total involvement of the subject, with an object of his or her awareness

Who's playing?

RicochetColours is the DJ name of Jed Hamilton-Shaw; Frome resident, land mapper, liminal walker and ceremonialist-in-chief @PaganPolitics

"At the leading edge of the culture, we are finally wakening to the centrality of the body in claiming our humanity and spirituality.

There's a call in the air for those with ears to hear it: to arrive more fully in our lives through dance, to go beyond everyday mind, as precious as that is, in order to help shift our consciousness: all so that we can show up and move through these times. The invitation is to come on down so it can happen for you.”

Expect flavours of IDM, prog house, electronica, organic, midtempo amongst many others.

Sensitively banging. Beatsy but beautiful.  Full spectrum dance music. Come get yours!
