Come with us to the lands of ice and snow, where mountains roar and the aurora glows. We have two tales to share with you, full of magic, mayhem and walruses! Lucia and the Light tells the story (with kind permission by the author, Phyllis Root) of a brave young girl who sets out to rescue the sun from the clutches of some terrible trolls. The Not-Invited Guest is inspired by an older Inuit tale and shows how a lovable old man has to use his wits to save his village from a rude and smelly visitor! Tales of the Far North is an enchanting, fun and vibrant family show with storytelling and puppetry, brought to you by Pip Jones of Skylarker and James Richardson of Angel Heart Theatre.

Thank you for an evocative evening of creative exploration. I didn’t know what to expect and came with the hope to get some inspiration as I’ve been feeling a bit stuck in my creative practice, plus the theme really spoke to me. The space was held really sensitively with a good structure that allowed for writing exercises as well as sharing. It was impressive how much was covered in just two hours and I also appreciated that you kept clear time boundaries which really helped to create a strong creative container. I left feeling nourished and inspired, thank you 🙏🏽 ✨
