Back by popular demand, The Psychedelic Society keeps playing Cupid every month. 

The Psychedelic Society in partnership with &Soul bring you Sanctuary Sessions

At &Soul we want to build soulful spaces that empower communities, nurture individuals, and inspire change. Our vision is to radically reimagine urban existence, uniting people in connection to themselves and others, weaving community into the tapestry of tomorrow.

Ahead of our launch in May, we are excited to co-host the Psychedelic Speed Dating as part of the Sanctuary Synergies, a taster of what you can expect to find in our programme at the Sanctuary.

This speed-dating is a night of sweet conversation, friend-making and finding your future lover! 

The event is open to anyone and everyone. You can drop the small talk and ask the questions you REALLY want to ask. We use the word ‘speed’ in the loosest possible sense. Real connection can't be rushed, and neither will we!

ABOUT THE NIGHT 

Taking inspiration from the 36 Questions to Intimacy and The School of Life's '100 Questions,' this kind of romantic speed ‘dating’ gives you a menu of profound, intriguing, and spicy questions designed to inspire authenticity and meaningful connection with those around you.

You’ll be guided through playful icebreakers and a series of 8-minute one-on-one conversations with different people throughout the evening, wrapping up with free-flowing socializing.

You’ll leave here with a fresh perspective on connection, some fun stories, and maybe even the beginning of something special.

Blue Lotus infused Cacao 

Upon arrival you will receive an Blue Lotus infused Cacao drink , to stimulate connection and get conversation flowing. Experience the unique, mystical, calming and mood enhancing  effects of the ancient Blue Lotus. You will also experience the beautiful benefits of ceremonial cacoa, famous for its heart-opening and spiritual effect on the mind, body and soul. 

THE VENUE

We will be meeting at the sexy Love Affairs Basement, born out of A Portuguese Affairs. 

The venue will serving  a variety of delicious food and drinks available for purchase on the night.

SCHEDULE

• 18:30: Arrive, socialise & grab a  drink
• 19:00: Blue Lotus infused Cacoa & intention-setting
• 19:15: Psychedelic Speed-Dating - pt 1
• 20:15:  15 minute break
• 20:30: Psychedelic Speed-Dating - pt 2
• 21:45: Time for socialising
• 22:30: Ends

We kindly ask that you arrive no later than 19:00 so we can begin on time and create a safe container for deep connection and conversation. If you would like to enjoy some of Love Affairs Basement's food, please try to eat before or after the speed-dating.

Carlotta Artuso

Carlotta is an Event Coordinator at The Psychedelic Society, with a deep passion for nature, personal and collective growth, mystical experiences and food (Italian roots play a big role here!).

Psychedelics have profoundly transformed her life, opening her mind to new perspectives and deeper self-awareness, allowing her to break free from the 9-5 grind and to launch her own PR and Events company -  Carlotta PR.

She believes in their potential to heal and transform, and she's passionate about advocating for their safe, intentional use to inspire positive change and open new pathways of consciousness.

Callum Browne

Callum is an event coordinator for The Psychedelic Society and a life-long learner in the exploration of consciousness. He has completed a MSc in Medical Anthropology at University College London where he specialised in research on the phenomenology of consciousness, psychedelics and the therapeutic and healing arts in mystical traditions around the world. 

Callum regularly delivers talks and workshops on mental health, meditation and breathwork to companies, groups and festivals across the UK. Callum is a massage therapist, body worker and somatic release therapist. He is an advocate of transformative and psychedelic experiences that are grounded in transpersonal and somatic philosophy and psychology. These are the experiences that cultivate the experience and wisdom to remember and embody our connection with ourselves, others, nature and the beyond.

ACCESS:  We do our best to include everyone in our events, regardless of health circumstances. If you have access requirements please email the event organiser directly to discuss. Many facilitators are able to offer reduced ticket prices for those truly unable to afford the ticket price.
