Healing Through Voice & Ancient Songs- with Hannah & Alessandra

There is magick in the world, and there is magick in our voice and body, we need only tap into it!

Come join Alessandra & Hannah in a beautiful and intimate gathering at the Enchanted Bisley Studio, where you'll be gently guided to explore your voice and the magick within you.

We begin with a heart opening cacao ceremony to ground into our bodies and the space, arriving fully into the present moment. From there, you'll be introduced to some somatic practices and movements that support a healing connection between mind, body, and voice, preparing the way for authentic expression through sound.

Together, we'll explore vocal practices and sounding techniques that awaken the voice, connect us with our emotions, and attune us to the elemental forces of nature. Through this, you may uncover a tender, nurturing part of yourself longing to be heard, or perhaps a wild, untamed voice ready to rise.

As the journey deepens, we’ll learn ancient songs to awaken our ancestral voice, deepening our connection to the land beneath our feet and the voice within. These songs serve as gateways, guiding us back to the wisdom of our ancestors and the truth held in our hearts.

All are welcome in the space, and this is for all levels! If you've never sung before, this is a safe place to meet your voice in a nurturing way.

Your Facilitators: 

Alessandra Stellina  has been on a lifelong journey to bridge the stories from the elemental realms of the Fae, selkies and dreamers. Her art and song comes from tales of the tender thrumming earth, bubbling brooks, humming mountains, lapping sea, and wind swept leaves, spoken to her in a language woven of heart and intuition, through the turning of the wheel.

Alessandra's way to support this bridge is through art in a multitude of mediums, as a means to express and remind people of the inherent magick we all hold and the deep current of magick that lives in all things.. She is a vocalist, a sculptor, body painter, and many more artistic disciplines.

In her devotion to song, she focuses on healing the body, mind and soul through tonation, breathwork, movement and singing pre-christian folk music. She is studying as an apprentice to the incredibly potent, world renowned singer and Vocal Theraputics coach Sonja Drakulich of Stellamara. She's also studied under the stunning song carrier and earth tender Peia Luzzi, along with many other global vocal coaches over the years.

Alessandra believes one of the ways we can integrate the relationship with the many realms is through a shift in perspective. When we slow enough to learn an ancient song, or begin toning, we find that sweet spot of being heard AND listening. That exact point when you give enough space to be the vessel for a lineage or an energy of the world to come through, a layer of harmony and overtone can be heard, a portal to the unseen opens.

Hannah Rose is an English song gathering vocalist with no fixed abode. She loves to collect songs and stories from times long past and help to keep them alive by sharing them with others. In particular Hannah loves ancient songs from England, Ireland and Scotland, and has a special love for songs in Gaelic. When first starting to sing in Gaelic it felt like a remembrance to her, a coming home.

One of Hannah’s favourite things about sharing these ancient folk songs and the stories that come with them, is how potent they are at helping us to connect with our ancestors, in a unique way that she feels just isn’t possible in any other form. Hannah believes these songs give us a snapshot into our ancestors lives, and really humanise them. Just like us they experienced love and also heartbreak, jealousy, sadness, loss and all the other human emotions that we experience. She finds the old melodies and lyrics transport her and others back in time, to places we don’t ‘know’ but remember somewhere deep in our bones. These songs can help us to deeply connect with our ancestors, but also our own voices and the very lands we stand on.
