Advaya

Advaya is a global platform for transformative education. Run by a collective of women, we create learning programmes with the leading minds of our time to shift perspectives and transform how we relate to each other and the world around us. 

Our work grows out of the compost of crumbling structures and systems, within a context of polycrisis - ecological, social, cultural, political, economic and spiritual dis-ease - and great transformation, as humanity finds itself at the edge of history and consciousness, self-aware and faced with a dynamic choice. We are seeking those whose eyes are opening, to take them on a journey of re-sensitisation, re-connection and re-awakening, an initiation to find new and ancient forms for humanity that sit in right-relationship to all of life.

Our enquiries navigate the how, what and why of systemic change by looking at the power-over paradigm and exploring its symptoms within belief systems of monoculture, extractivism, globalisation and violence. We find answers in the deep rooted knowing of deep ecology, kinship, mythos, and wisdom traditions of the world. Our aim is to bridge technology and embodied experience in learning programmes that point to the foundations for a model of humanity rooted in the interrelationships of ecology, cosmology and society, and the celebration of multiplicity, curiosity, community and creative joy.

Advaya was founded by two sisters in 2015 as one of the first platforms to create spaces and experiences that explore the interrelationships between human and environmental health. Its genesis is rooted in a desire to cultivate conversation, community and shared exploration in topics outside of mainstream media and culture. What originated as one event turned into six years of high quality learning programmes, which have fostered the regeneration of soil, soul, and society and led the way in a now burgeoning field. Over 500 unique events, gatherings, retreats and online courses have convened some of the leading figures in the world today. The relaunch of advaya in 2022 with an integrated learning platform marks a turning point. We are excited you are joining us.
