Murmuration Choir is a contemporary vocal project led by Isoldè Freeth-Hale and accompanied by beatboxer Jack Salt, which brings together a collective of Bristol's singers who share an in interest in where popular music intersect with the promotion of wellbeing, community and love for nature. We specialise in collaborating with artists in the creation of life-affirming new music. You might have met us performing and giving choral sound baths at Medicine Festival or Shambala, or collaborating with artists such as Cosmo Sheldrake, Martha Tilston and wildlife documentary maker, Martin Dorhn (BBC, David Attenborough).
We have had so many wonderful artists and practitioners passing through our project, either as singers and / or artistic collaborators, and we've been wanting to celebrate, share and create community around the rich knowledge, experience and skills they have to offer - so, we are launching our first workshop programme in 2024!
Please join us for some immersive sound-making, ranging from choral sound bath creation, face-beat making, improvisation, performance poetry writing, intentional songcraft, vocal exploration and deepening your creative practice as an artist.
If you'd like to find out more about what we do, or are a singer interested in joining the choir, please check out our website for more details, and get in touch if you have any questions.
