The Psychedelic Health Professionals Network envisions a world where psychedelics are used responsibly, ethically, and safely to enhance wellbeing, cultivate transformation and deepen our connection to ourselves, others and the natural world. Our commitment to this vision is embodied in our evidence-based, legally grounded and ever-evolving retreat program.

Mission
Our mission is to educate health professionals and the general public with current, accurate, evidence-based information about psychedelics; to support the safe exploration of psychedelics for health, healing, well-being and the ease of suffering; to connect with like-minded organisations; to advocate for the rational and responsible use of psychedelics.
Vision
A world in which the use of psychedelics is guided by scientific evidence; where psychedelics are available to all those who may benefit; and where psychedelics are used responsibly and safely to improve health and well-being.
What we do
Educate
We provide current, research-based information about psychedelics for health professionals and the general public through our website, newsletters, articles & lectures. Contact us if you would like us to provide a lecture or workshop for your organisation.
Support
We support individuals and groups to explore the therapeutic use of psychedelics in a safe and legal environment through our residential experience retreats in the Netherlands. We also support the integration of psychedelic experiences and insights through a monthly facilitated two-hour online Orientation/ Integration group.
Connect
We connect with other organisations already working within the psychedelic field. We are also committed to connecting with organisations that are new to psychedelics but that work in sectors where psychedelics have been shown to be of benefit or to significantly overlap, such as mental health, addictions, end of life care, chronic pain, meditation approaches and enhancement of general wellbeing. Contact us if you would like to discuss how emerging knowledge about psychedelics could be helpful in your area of work.
Advocate
We support the growing consensus that our current drug policies are counterproductive. We are committed to advocating for legal & political change to make psychedelics more readily available for research and to those who might benefit from their responsible use.
Our history
The initiative to form the Psychedelic Health Professional Network began in early 2019 with an article in a Scottish Counselling journal. A committee subsequently formed in Scotland, with members from a variety of health professional backgrounds. Since then the committee has expanded to include members from other parts of the UK and Europe.
