Spring greetings there,

After a few quiet months on the email front we've finally setup our new mailing system via Dandelion. We have some exciting news and some important updates to share with you.

We're feeling the full energy of the season with the wonderful celebrations of Beltane recently. Here at EDB we're riding the Spring waves with some amazing advances. Along with our new venue, which is proving to be a great success, we now have a dedicated Kids Space with a Kids Guardian, where children can play away from the music whilst their parents enjoy a dance. The kids are totally welcome to join the dance too of course🤗Come dance this Sunday and bring the family✨Please see event page for full info.

This Sunday we have an all-female lineup: Amada who DJed a storm of a journey when she debuted with EDB over a month ago, Jaz Brandon who is the creatrix of Gwyr Soul and hosts regular dances in nature in Gower, South Wales and Cadi Mai will lead a live Sound Bath of voice and crystal bowls to complete our journey✨

Ticket Price Increase

We have been running our Sunday Ecstatic Dances in Bristol with the same prices for over 2 years...And now the time has come to increase our ticket prices in order to continue running and bringing to the community of Bristol one of the highest quality, regular Ecstatic Dances in the UK.

We proudly offer at our Sunday dances:

the best Ecstatic Dance DJs, facilitators & musicians in the scene
a stunning venue, professional dance flooring & high quality Sound System (db audiotechnik)
a dedicated Kids Space & Kids Space Guardian
a Welfare Angel & Safe(r) Space Agreement (to ensure that everyone feels safe & welcome in our spaces ~ see our event pages for more info)
a committed hard working team
a beautiful community & more

We still want to make our sessions accessible to as many people as possible so it's important to keep options for people on low incomes or unemployed (see below).

Please note, the new ticket prices include booking fees.
Our new ticket prices will be in effect for our Sunday dances from Sunday 21 May onwards.

New ticket prices

- £17.50 Standard
- £22.50 Supporter (these tickets allow us to provide 'Low Income' tickets and also support EDB to continue running)
- £15 Low Income (limited)
- £10 Kids Ticket 4-17yrs (to cover cost of [DBS checked] Kids Space Guardian)
- £19.50 On The Door (if we haven't Sold Out)

If you cannot afford the 'Low Income' ticket please come and speak to us on the door so we can work something out. No one is turned away due to lack of funds.
