Hi there,
When I was first introduced to Swami Sarvapriyananda I immediately fell in love with his humour, charisma and intelligence. He mixes story, metaphor and a vast knowledge of Vedanta to convey nondual teachings in a way that is as clear and powerful.
Although head minister of the Vedanta Society of New York, he continues to engage with modern science as well as other traditions - he recently did a year at Harvard as a student of Jay Garfield in order to gain a deeper understanding of Buddhist teachings on Emptiness. He then wrote a book comparing these two great Indian traditions - Fullness & Emptiness.
So I'm very excited to host Swami & Bernardo Kastrup in conversation this coming Tuesday :)
We'll have them compare emptiness and Idealism, but also eastern vs western approaches to spirituality.
