Hi there,
Tomorrow we continue the recent theme comparing Buddhism with Idealism - the notion that reality is equivalent to mind, spirit, or consciousness. These conversations have been deepening my experience and understanding of multiple perspective, so I hope you've found them valuable as well.
I feel lucky to have some very highly regarded scholars joining us tomorrow, including Andrew Holecek, who is a frequent subject in scientific studies on meditation and lucid dreaming, after completing a 3 year retreat!
We've also got Michael Sheehy - a PhD in Buddhist Studies and director of research at the Contemplative Sciences Center at the University of Virginia, and Dr. Karl Brunnhölzl: an international teacher and translator of Buddhism.
Representing Analytic Idealism is Bernardo Kastrup, who has been leading the modern renaissance of ‘metaphysical idealism’ with a Ph.D. in philosophy (ontology, philosophy of mind) and another Ph.D. in computer engineering.
I hope you can join us!
