Hi there,

Right now, somewhere across Britain, someone is stuffing wellies into a rucksack while nervously eyeing the weather forecast. Festival season is properly upon us, and with it comes that familiar flutter of excitement – the promise of four days where anything could happen, where ordinary life is suspended and we enter a beautiful, temporary tribe.

There's a reason psychedelics and festivals feel like natural bedfellows.

And honestly, some of the most profound experiences happen in these chaotic, magical spaces. We've heard incredible stories from our community – moments of connection that lasted long after the comedown and insights that shifted entire life perspectives.

But a field in Somerset at 3am with 10,000 strangers is a very different beast from your carefully planned ceremony at home or with a guide. Festival psychedelics can be unpredictable in ways that catch people off guard and often even microdoses can be powerful when in highly stimulating settings.

So if you're taking them at festivals this summer, please treat them and yourself with the respect and care you both deserve.

Know exactly what you're taking and how much (you can read up on all substances and dosing info on our harm reduction pages), bring someone who's committed to staying relatively sensible, consider your set, setting and emotional state, and familiarise yourself with where help lives if you need it.

Our brilliant friends at PsyCare are at festivals across the UK and Europe with free drug testing services, knowledgeable volunteers, and  zero judgement. Many of our team are PsyCare-trained volunteers and can attest that their whole mission is keeping people safe. If you need their tent, don't hesitate to go there.

And remember – those profound moments don't vanish when you pack up your tent and return to reality. Festival experiences can be just as intense and meaningful as any other psychedelic journey, which means they deserve the same care afterwards.

Our next online Integration Circle is coming up on August 5th, and we'd love to hear about whatever magic (or chaos) you encountered in those sunny fields. Happy festival-ing!

As always, you can find all our upcoming events and retreats on our events page.
