ABOUT TOPIC - Trauma -Informed Online Psychedelic Integration Circle

We hope TOPIC can be an ongoing resource for your psychedelic preparation and integration. We are a trauma-informed psychedelic circle, offering peer support and a sharing circle with the aim of supporting the integration of expanded states into our lives in a way that is helpful and meaningful to us.
We invite insight, healing and repair to happen in relationship and at a pace determined by each person’s nervous system capacity. As our community builds, we hope to offer you a space where you can reflect on your own journey and that of your peers from a place of comfort and security.
‘Psychedelic’ means ‘mind-manifesting’. The group will focus on experiences induced by use of psychedelics, but meditation, breath-work, and other, sometimes spontaneous, processes can also induce these states.
The group does not offer therapy. It is simply a safe, confidential space for you to share your experiences or hear from others if you are considering whether use of psychedelics is right for you.
We recognise the positive potential of the use of psychedelics, but as a group will work within the law, so we ask that you don’t turn up under the influence of substances and that you don’t take psychedelics in the session. We will also ask you not to share information about illegal psychedelic services.

With an MSc in Contemporary Psychosexual Therapy and current enrolment in the Institute of Psychedelic Therapy training, Clare specialises in guiding individuals and couples through the complexities of their relationships and sexual identities. She helps people explore the depths of their psyche and embrace their authentic selves as a pathway to healing. She approaches her practice with a holistic and compassionate mindset, advocating for expanded states of consciousness—whether achieved through meditation, breathwork, psychedelic medicine, or spontaneous occurrence—as a pathway to healing and wholeness. Her professional interests include the therapeutic potential of psychedelic substances, particularly in trauma treatment, couples therapy, and sex therapy.

DR ALESSIO AGOSTINIS

Dr Alessio Agostinis has been a clinical psychologist since 2008 working with with complex chronic health conditions both individual and groups. His more recent public work is with intensive care survivors. His main psychological therapy approaches are mindfulness, trauma sensitive, and approaches looking at relationships, including those with our inner world and other people. More recently, he has embarked in self development around expanded, non-ordinary states harm reduction and integration, with the Institute of Psychedelic Therapies (IPT). Key to the integrity of his work, however, is learning from personal experience as a client/user (as well as professional learning), and a genuine intention to get to know and align deeply with his clients. Thus, his main work currently is the provision of safe but also challenging psychological therapy that honours the relationship between key life events, interpersonal difficulties and repeated cycles of upset and health presentations, leaning into psychospiritual / existential values.
Alessio informs his individual client preparation and integration work (particularly around safety) with his experience with neurodivergence (predominantly dyslexia, as well as ADD/ADHD and autism), and reasonable adjustments, intervention, consultation and collaboration on service developments and innovation, professional, safety and quality standards and practices, teaching, training, supervision, as well as research. systems of work include individual, corporate, legal, employers, community and voluntary, and Government sectors. In his personal time, he is a proud dad to Oliver, he enjoys low-water fishing, spearfishing and time out at sea, as well as walking around Jersey with his Cavachon dog, Eeve
DR JESS MACINTYRE-HARRISON

Dr Jess MacIntyre-Harrison (she/her) is a Clinical Psychologist specialising in working with people whose gender and sexual identities are minoritised, sidelined or oppressed by normative culture. She approaches psychotherapy holistically, by drawing both from her formal post-graduate and doctoral training in Applied Human Rights (MSc) and Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy), and also her more personal insights of deep process, facilitated by indigenous wisdom keepers and those that have studied with them. By blending traditional, trauma-informed Western psychotherapy with somatic and sensory practices, she centres the mind/body axis and reconnecting with the aliveness of our natural world in her approach to every stage of the psychedelic process.
Jess is passionate about creating space for queer and/or trans experiences in medicine communities, and about bringing the political into processes of transformation. She is a professional member of the Institute of Psychedelic Therapy and is currently completing their 2-year Depth Relational Process training.
KATHRYN OSBORNE

Kathryn (Kathy) Osborne is an experienced Relational Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor and Yoga Therapist for Mental Health (Trauma Informed.) Her embodied knowledge gives her an understanding and fascination of unspoken communications, often called symptoms, that when acknowledged and given space can be the key to recovery and insight. She is professionally interested in developing Harm Reduction, Preparation and Integration protocols within Psychedelic Assisted Therapy and is running an Integration Circle in partnership with The Psychedelic Society. Her approach works well with the science and philosophies underpinning consciousness and expanded states. She is a member of the Institute of Psychedelic Therapy and currently studying on their excellent two-year professional training in Depth Relational Process. As a 57year old woman and cancer survivor, she is personally interested in exploring the myths, archetypes, prejudices and challenges surrounding post-menopausal women. In a world obsessed with staying young, she feels a strong need to challenge her own preconceptions around ageing and approach this new chapter with the reverence and responsibility it brings.
