South African-born, London-based artist, J. Müller is a visionary creator crafting new worlds through her diverse talents as a singer, DJ, producer, poet, and founder of parth_é & Our Sacred Rhythms. Known for her ability to blend genres and break boundaries, she first gained attention as the lead sing- er of the pop-funk band Black Forest Ghetto (2010-2014). Her solo debut came in 2018 with the re- lease of the single ‘I Surrender i’, followed by a series of self-produced tracks, including her de- but EP ‘J. Müller 2.0’ and two full books of poetry: ‘Peaceful Thoughts’ and ‘You Are a Mystic Child.’ J. Müller’s musical journey has also included collaborations with the Netherlands-based producer and DJ Philou Louzolo, contributing to two tracks on his album ‘African Gold’ — ‘Legacy’ and ‘Rejoice’ (the lat- ter featuring Cee Elassaad and Eli Fola), which was featured on Black Coffee’s Spotify Track ID’s playlist.

Driven by a lifelong passion for music, she felt a deep calling to pursue the world of sound from a young age and earned a BMUS degree in Music from City University in London in 2010. Her sound is a reflection of her deep ancestral roots, blending the rich electronic music traditions of South Africa with global influences, creating a primal, immersive experience. Allowing listeners to reconnect with their true origins, as interconnected beings of light and sound.

Her performances have taken her around the world, from major UK festivals such as Noisily, Electric Pic- nic, Lovejam, and Lost Village, to international stages in Bombay, Tulum, Japan, and Cape Town. J. Müller has also shared the stage with world-renowned artists, opening for Henrik Schwarz at Night Tales and Kathy from Sister Sledge. She was a resident DJ at Hovarda and is now at Secret Brunch events in London.

In 2017, she founded parth_é, a platform dedicated to supporting those on their spiritual awaken- ing journeys, and later expanded her work with Our Sacred Rhythms, a conscious dance night turned la- bel. The first release from the label was her debut EP. Her unique artistic vision has earned her recog- nition, including being featured in DJ Mag’s ‘12 Emerging Artists You Need to Hear’ for November 2022. Through her music, poetry, and creative ventures, J. Müller continues to inspire and in- vite others to connect with the deeper rhythms of existence.
