Come and join us on the 5th April;  for an evening of wonder, story and connection.

Let us be enchanted by story!

This evening will be an interactive story workshop filled with story, live music, sharing and exploration.

Together we will  explore the concepts of a story through sharing, writing, visualisation and movement. Reflecting on our lives and how we can inspire more ways of living to the full.

Let's transport ourselves back to childhood whilst I spin you the Celtic tale Diarmaid and the Daughter of King Under Waves accompanied by William Barkley on his guitar and a couple different instruments for varying textures.

Watch as your imagination is moved by story. How it opens doors to other worlds. Gives us a way of sharing and connecting in a deeper way with one another.

A little about me mica:

I am a musical storyteller. My music aims to light up the world of others with my deeply felt profound off the wall spontaneous creations. I've been working with people for the last 10 years using drama, story, music and movement to deliver classes that inspire us to explore different themes and find new ways of relating with the world. I aim to bring playfulness as a balm to calm the heart. Combining my love of life, music, and story to create spaces that build confidence and cultivate curiosity.

A little about Story Circles:

A story circle is where we gather together to share stories, play games, sing and connect. After I have shared the story there will be time for reflections and exercises around the story. Often ending with song and celebration. These sessions bring us the opportunity to connect in a deeper way than we normally would. They create a space for us to be heard and understood. Deepen our connection with ourselves and one another. bringing lots of laughter and joy.

Stories are the way we understand and make sense of the world we find ourselves in.’ says Clare Patey, Director of the Empathy Museum.
