🕯️Candlelit new moon ceremony to honour our harvest & our departed loved ones through our voices 🌚

When the veil between the worlds is thin after Samhain, the night of the new moon also coincides with a day that is traditionally dedicated to honour our departed loved ones across multiple cultures.

I would like to invite you to gather in a 13th century island church on the ley line for a candlelit ceremony to honour our harvest this year and pay respect to our departed  loved ones through the power of sound.

You will be guided through a gentle yet powerful Breathwork journey to tune into your body and your feelings, which will lead into a vocal toning exercise to prepare us to intuitively weave our voices together.

We will end the night with a sound journey to soak in the sensations we have experienced through this sonic ceremony.

You are welcomed to bring a photo of departed loved ones you would like to honour to put onto the altar.

This is a donation based event. I intend to gather every new moon at the same venue with a guest musician. To make this sustainable for us, please consider a fair exchange for this special offering. Please reach out if you feel the call to join us but not able to donate at the moment.

⛪️ THE VENUE

Please note that due to the nature of the venue, there is no electricity. The space will be candlelit & heated by a log burner. Please bring yoga mat, cushion, sheepskin, blanket & flask of hot water to keep yourself warm and comfortable.

There are limited parking spaces on site. Please arrange ride share on our Facebook event page.

🙌🏼 WHO IS THIS EVENT FOR

This workshop is for all beings and bodies who feel the call to connect with and unlock their voices and gather in community. No previous experience of singing is required. You are also welcome to join us if you'd prefer not to use your voice and  bathe in the oneness of the collective resonance.

🪄OUR FACILITATORS

🐉 WAI GUEN

Wai Guen has started Laya Oneness as an exploration on the possibilities of dissolving boundaries and connecting us into the oneness that we all are.

Originally from Hong Kong, she is passionate about weaving ancient Chinese wisdom of Daoism, power of breath and our voices to help us dissolve into non-dual state of consciousness.

She has a deep connection with the spirits of nature and is often guided by the wisdom of trees. She channels spirit songs that brings harmony, openness and timelessness into the space she holds.

She has been bringing the dragon awakening vocal journey to communities at events and festivals in Portugal & the UK in the year of Dragon. She also holds space for pilgrimage ceremonies on the ley line.

🎵SAM VINCENT

Sam has been fascinated with music since he was young. It was through being in communities by the sacred fire of Rainbow Gathering & Lovejam that has truly ignited his passion for music, feeling the power of music in bringing revolutionary change into a collective space.

Weaving the sound of didgeridoo, djembe, guitar and Native American flute, Sam creates sonic soundscape that brings people into a relaxed and meditative trance state. He has been supporting cultural events through playing live music in Bristol in the past year. His presence brings openness and togetherness in ceremonial spaces.
