Get creative, experiment, learn new skills and support your wellbeing this winter, by joining MOOR MAKERS craft group at the beautiful Moor Imagination Collective in Buckfastleigh!!

Dates: Every Monday from Jan 20th - 31st March

Time: 6.30pm-8pm (10 session, 24th Feb no session, Moor Makers will continue for spring term but dates tbc)

Location: Chapel St, Buckfastleigh TQ11 0AB

This winter term we will explore crafts that provide warmth and twinkly magic to help us through the winter darkness!

Get creative in a supportive community group where we can experiment and express our creativity, making the things we need from the materials around us!  The course will be relaxed and welcoming of all abilities! 

Below are the crafts we will experiment with - not necessarily in this order. There is a strong commitment to regenerative craft and using local or foraged materials as much as possible! 

Costs include all materials and tuition.

*Felted hot water bottle covers 

*Basketry

*Cordage plant holders

*Carving wax candles   

*Paper clay candelabras

*Mask making

*Making paintbrushes and painting with inks

*Weaving patches on handmade mini looms 

*Japanese book binding sketchbooks 

*Hazel wassailing lanterns

*Lino printing

Tier 1 £120
If you are financially abundant, have no real worries about money, have plentiful savings - please pay this price which covers running costs but also gives a little more to make the group accessible to the community. Thankyou for helping to make this beautiful craft group run!
Tier 2 £85
If you have a steady income, need to be responsible about your spending but with care are able to plan ahead and budget or save please pay this price. Each workshop will cost you £8.50 which is an incredible deal!
Tier 3 £60

If you are on benefits, don't have savings, frequently stress about finances, can't work because you are a full time carer, dealing with debt, difficulty paying everyday bills and having irregular and unstable income buy this reduced ticket price and allow yourself to be supported by your community! Please don't buy this ticket unless this is your situation. This sliding scale model only works if people are honest.
