What’s in a jazz show? Jazz hands? Jazz lines? Jazzy-wazzy smiles? 

Prepare your jazz shoes and dance to some unconventional frequencies with Mantravine as they take you on a heart-opening journey full of bebop pizazz. ArunDitha will sing into being a tale of love and soulful awakening, through looking for her missing piece, and eventually reminding herself that we create the world of our dreams. Rupak George presents carefully crafted electronic compositions on Ableton and synths to get the boogie-woogie down, while Isuru Wijesoma demonstrates all manner of stringed effects and prowess on double-necked guitar. The twinkling fingers at the end of the tunes comes through the skills of Farhan Remy on the trumpet and keyboard. Prepare to jive.

MANTRAVINE

Mantravine is a Neo-Ethnic Fusion band from Singapore, practising a type of alternative world-making. Through their organic sound innovated from contemporary electronic and global rhythms, live instruments, spoken word and vocals, their music gives birth to a new story, rewriting the code which pervades our present existence.

Within this code, sound is the language of the planetary human condition. Sung into the matrix— a different truth perpetuates itself and new world patterns are born. Musical experiences, workshops, healing ceremonies and sound baths are the main ways Mantravine builds and liberates community through the joy of sound.
