An invitation to co-dream in Bristol with Church for Earth - Saturday 12th October - 11am - St Wehburgs Community Farm
-------------------------
How would a church, crested for Earth and the place we live, by the community of Bristol look?
How might it support community in Bristol to come together, to deepen into love for the land and place we live with and are a part of?
How might a Church for Earth in Bristol be uniquely created as an expression of the place and the people who live there?
How might a Church for Earth in Bristol unite with other places around England to create a mycelial Web that supports us to respond to the moment of crisis we are currently facing together?
--------------------
We're inviting people to come together in Bristol to listen around the fire of Church for Earth here.
We'll offer -
- An intro into the vision of Church for Earth, the journey so far and how we hope to work mycellially together with different places around England.
- A space to co-dream into what might be possible in Bristol and England together.
- Meditations to support deepening into connection with place and Earth.
--------------------
So what is Church for Earth?
Church for Earth is part prayer, part love song for our Earth, part wild cry.
And it stems from a central questions…
What if we, the people of Earth, chose to unite and stand across the places we live to create a Church for our Earth?
How might a Church, created for Earth, serve, to support us to come more deeply together at the heart of community, to connect with our world and ourselves as part of it?
How might we work locally and communally to support activity that regenerates and rewilds our local habitats and ecosystems?
How might we offer pathways to facing the weight of the ecological crisis we are currently facing and choose a pathway together through this that brings us closer together in realisation that our Earth is the one ground we have in common?
--------------------
What we’ve created is a vision and a plan in the hope to support with this, to come together, to remember, to act, and to face the crisis we are living through with the full force of our hearts and our humanity.
