AS SEEN AT Boomtown, Om & Bass festival and Mind Body Soul Experience…
EMÖSHPIT – The R.A.G.E Rave (Radical Access to Greater Energy) is a primal dancefloor experience where music meets the law of vibration. Move through trapped emotions, transform anger into power, and unlock your wildest self. No judgment, no holding back – just full-spectrum feeling.A space to find within ourselves the courage for absolute letting go and express our true selves through dance and talking, the light and the dark, all of you is welcome.
R.A.G.E stands for Radical Access to Greater Energy. To evolve the quality and depth of our lives we have to get over the fear of authentically expressing ourselves. But, we appreciate, that can be scary at times (hence EMÖSHPIT). If you’re interested in befriending your emotions and helping build a community of authentic self-expression then EMÖSHPIT is for you.
Come for some deep emotional connection through feeling seen and heard followed by a high-energy facilitated dance practice then integration time, coffee and chats.
What previous participants have said
"EMÖSHPIT was a game-changer for me. I felt an incredible sense of release and freedom."
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"The combination of sharing and high-energy dance helped me connect with my emotions in a way I never thought possible."
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"I've never felt so included and accepted. EMÖSHPIT is a safe space for anyone looking to express themselves."
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Why EMÖSHPIT?
Because being a human can be tough at times and we feel, held sensitively, it's important for people to embrace the fear of expressing or seeing others express what society deems as perhaps darker or unacceptable emotions. Everything + anything, the light and the dark - it's all welcome at EMÖSHPIT.
Our Aim
A safe place to investigate and play - like a sandpit for adults - to celebrate all of what it is to be human, our wild and rawness plus our sensitive, nurturing and vulnerable sides through talking about how we feel and expressing our emotions.
Schedule
PART 1: CONNECT VIA SHARING: In pairs, small groups, each person gets time to open up and share about how they are feeling followed by a short round of reflection (NOT advice) so they feel seen and heard and come together as a team.
PART 2: DANCE IT OUT: Then, as a team, release whatever's come up/present in life via a wave of dubstep DnB, type tunes speckled with the odd all out rock favourite to really let loose!
Rules
This is NOT a MOSHPIT it's an EMÖSH-PIT (Emotional Pit). We are here to help each other NOT hurt each other.
It's very unlikely but, if someone does fall down, we pick them up. Treat others as you wish to be treated.
This is NOT a place for advice, it’s a place for release and support.
If you’re angry that’s okay, we all are at times. If you act angrily with intention to hurt someone you’ll be ejected from the event.
While the intention of this practice is very much NOT to hurt anyone, the idea is to make a bit of human contact and support each other in self expression. With this in mind, although any kind of injury is very unlikely, if you don't want to risk even the possibility of any very mild injury then please refrain from partaking in this event.
