I am delighted to invite you to our Women's Ostara Ceremony on the River Thames this Sunday.
Ceremony, alone, or with others, gives us structure, meaning and order to our year.
Holy days are markers on the journey. Ostara is a High Sabbat Holy Day.
The name Ostara comes from the Germanic Goddess Eōstre, a deity of dawn, fertility, and renewal. She is deeply connected to the hare, an ancient lunar symbol of abundance, and the egg, the primordial vessel of creation that is both potential and wholeness, simultaneously. It is from Eōstre that the Christian celebration of Easter evolved, and her name is also linked to oestrogen, the hormone of fertility and life-giving cycles.

Even though the winds of change and uncertainty gust, when Oestre's egg of pure potential cracks open, we call on our kindreds, human and non-human to support us as we sow the seeds of our intentions for this new cycle of growth.
Spring connects us to our Maiden energy so we will be sharing some stories and remembrances of our twenty-something years = both the highs and the lows.
We are also celebrating the astrological new year as the Sun has just moved into Aries. Its fire ignites our passion, purpose and courage as the seeds of creation start to sprout from within.
You'll find a warm and welcoming space to connect, reflect, and rejuvenate.
Our venue is a beautiful houseboat on the river overlooking the iconic Albert Bridge. Cadogan Pier was built in 1841 and is a landmark structure. The Pier was rebuilt in 1875 to accommodate Albert Bridge that has been recognised as one of London's most beautiful bridges.
Your womb will enjoy the gentle undulations from the water's movement beneath us.
Please bring a yoga mat if you have one, a cushion to sit on, and a blanket or shawl. Dress warmly. You may like to bring a small offering for our communal altar which you will take back home with you at the end of the ceremony.
Prepare a song or poem to share if you wish.
There will be organic vegan soup, bread and salad served after the ceremony. Feel free to bring any sweet treats, cake, or chocolate to share afterwards.

"The magic of Erika’s facilitation- her delivery and choices of exercises, words, ritual elements, guided movement instruction, personal and shared reflections and questions, and compelling music choices takes you on a journey linking body, mind and spirit, and this coupled with practical knowledge of nervous system regulation and trauma informed somatics, helps you shift stagnant energy, inhibitions, blindspots, fears and traumatic imprints, and stimulates your life force, connection to the Divine Feminine attributes of beauty, creativity, power and strength within you.
It was such a gorgeously held space, as Erika’s phrasing and tone of the verbal prompts really fit with how my mind works, and they came at the exactly the right time for me in my rhythm. I think that’s another strength of Erika’s facilitation and why I felt to come back and had such a affecting experience- she’s very intuitive with the group whilst also tuning into each person individually, and thus offers guidance at exactly the right time and what each individual person might need. The way she speaks to help a person tune into their body really reflects her expertise and lived experience in this area, and you can feel it and hear it in the choice and flow of her direction and words. She holds space with real mastery, yet humility and freedom for the participants. It never feels heavy handed or superficial, and always genuine. I really appreciate all of this, and thus I was able to let go and drop deeper into my experience, relaxing control and the mind, keeping my eyes closed the whole time, and really felt into my body and the way my energy wanted to move, whilst at the same time sensing she’s right there with me, holding space in these deep and dark places. Through this, I was able to really move stagnant and stuck energy, get in touch with my flowing life force and wild Shakti, and feel my authentic energy and expression."

"What a beautiful day. I am SO glad I went. I instantly felt at ease around the other women - after a lifetime of social anxiety. As I got onto the boat I was just thrown away by the views, the layout, the ambiance. Everyone was extremely welcoming. And I settled in instantly.
It was just what I needed. The food was amazing. The facilitation. The ceremony. I enjoyed the singing the most."
