Join Us on December 8th for a Transformative Experience at @thrive_mentalhealthandwellness Hub in Runcorn!

We're excited to offer an immersive session combining connection exercises, cacao, and holosomatic breathwork, designed to help you release, heal, and reconnect with yourself. This powerful experience will last approximately 3.5 hours.

Holosomatic breathwork is a powerful practice that can have significant physical and emotional effects. While it is beneficial for many, there are certain conditions that may require modifications or a tailored approach, and some that may unfortunately prevent participation altogether.

Please read the following carefully and confirm your understanding.

Important Notice

- It is your responsibility to inform the practitioner of any medical or mental health conditions listed below (or any others not mentioned) prior to your session.

- Some conditions may still allow you to participate with adjustments, while others may require medical approval or mean that breathwork is not suitable for you.

Contraindications

Please notify the practitioner if you have any of the following:

- Pregnancy (due to potential risks to the fetus).

- Uncontrolled high blood pressure or severe cardiovascular conditions (including a history of heart attack).

- Epilepsy or a history of seizures.

- Detached retina or a history of aneurysms (personal or family).

- Psychosis, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia.

- Severe PTSD: If your PTSD is raw or unmanaged, the session may need to be postponed. Managed PTSD can benefit greatly from breathwork.

- Asthma: Ensure you bring your inhaler to the session.

- Diabetes or hypoglycemia: Due to changes in blood sugar levels.

- Recent surgery or severe infections.

- Use of prescription blood-thinning medications (e.g., warfarin).

Additionally, please avoid breathwork if you:

- Have consumed alcohol, drugs, or psychedelics within 24 hours.

- Are currently fasting or have fasted for an extended period (this can affect your body’s response to breathwork).

Note on Participation

Unfortunately, some contraindications will mean that you cannot take part in breathwork sessions. This is for your safety and well-being. If you are unsure about your suitability, please consult with a healthcare professional or discuss your condition with the practitioner in advance.
