In the wake of the UK Supreme Court’s recent ruling, we are grieving.

Some silently, some loudly, some unsure of how or where to place the weight of it all. This grief ritual is an intentional space for trans folx to gather, witness one another, and honour the deep emotional realities this moment brings. Whether your grief is about the ruling itself, the accumulation of harm or the erasure of our identities - this space welcomes whatever you're bringing.

Through shared silence, ritual, and gentle connection, we aim to create a container for trans grief to be felt, expressed, and held in community. This is not a protest or a discussion; it’s a space for presence, resilience and collective grief. Processing grief together is resistance.

Together we will:

 • Build a gentle container for grief through shared presence and connecting to our felt experience

 • Witness each other’s grief without needing to fix or explain

 • Participate in a gentle water ritual to release what feels heavy

 • Close with candlelight and a shared blessing for the collective

This space is free for trans women and transfems, donations from anyone else are welcome but not expected and any proceeds will be donated to Gendered Intelligence.

Your facilitators are Loren Seaman (they/them) and Yolanda Adamson (they/them). Loren is a grief tender and community facilitator at St. Christopher’s Hospice in London. Yolanda is a somatic practitioner and intimacy coach.
