This is a community healing ceremony using traditional Himalayan and Siberian shamanic ritual practices. The shamanka, Kate Freyja has been given the permission to share these ceremonies in traditional ways, Kate holds strong values surrounding ethics and integrity when working within the lineage she is part of. These ceremonies promote healing for personal, collective and community spiritual wellbeing.
Each ceremony may be slightly different depending on what the spirits are guided to perform through the shamanka. The ceremony may include a traditional giving of offerings to help the collective, song, or a fire ritual.
No entry for late comers, once the ceremony starts so please arrive on time. Ceremony will start at 6:15pm
There will be time to connect with other like minded individuals after the ceremony, with a cup of herbal tea and shared refreshments.
We ask for a small donation (£2-£5), to cover the costs of the hall hire, any additional profits will go into a fund to pay for more community nonprofit events.
Please note that the shamanka is not taking any money for these ceremonies, she shares her time here as her way of giving back her gifts into the community. It is of traditional custom to bring a gift as an exchange of energy, yet please feel free to bring either some fresh fruit, nuts or cake to share afterwards and/or some much appreciated seasoned wood for the fire*.
More information about your shamanka:

Kate Freyja McLoughlin
“I have been practicing and studying traditional shamanism as an apprentice to the spirits, receiving training with my human teacher Nicholas Breeze Wood since 2019.
Nicholas has shared animistic teachings with me from the Indigenous North American Medicine Ways, as well as ceremonial methods from traditional Mongolian and Himalayan shamanism, with a sprinkle of Core shamanic teachings also.
I have received empowerments and initiations into traditional practices from these traditions, and Nicholas and I have an ongoing apprenticeship, where he mentors and supervises me regularly.
The spirits called me to these sacred ways at a very young age, yet I ignored this calling for many years, so as to avoid the 'blessing and curse' that the spirits often bring.
As a way of avoiding, I used alcohol and drugs excessively in an attempt to escape from my path’s true calling. But, after years of suffering from physical and mental illness, I was forced to turn my life around, heal from complex trauma and PTSD, and begin to listen to the calling of the spirits.
I began my journey with Buddhism and spirituality in 2008, yet did not fully commit to it until 2016. Then, I asked the spirits to guide me to a teacher, and have since continued following the sacred paths that the spirits have opened the doors to.”
These ceremonies are open to all people, no one is turned away due to lack of finances.
Please note that this is an alcohol and substance free event, anyone inebriated may be asked to leave. It could be worth also mentioning that there will not be any hallucinogens offered here.
*(there may not be a fire at every single ceremony for example if it is a very hot summer evening, yet most of the ceremonies are likely to have one).

If you require a personal shamanic healing ritual, please feel free to reach out to Kate Freyja via email to arrange an in person or remote healing session, all of Kate’s shamanic services are offered on a donation basis.
