The herald stepped their toe / tongue / beak into our path and we followed them away on the stray. We said ‘YEEEES’ to their call to adventure and now we find ourselves in that liminal space before the first threshold into the unknown.

We're gathering our resources, bracing our bones, and waxing our boots for the journey.

In this pause, we acknowledge our deepest treasure, the peace of paradise, the memory of the womb, and we find it in our hearts. We remember its protective power in its connection to the Cosmic Mother and know it will remain with us in battle and in strife.

There will however be moments of forgetting this power, when it feels lost and faded, misty and fickle, teetering away. In these tremblings we remind ourselves to ask others for help - to soothe, or rock or shock us back into the knowing of this strength we hold in our hearts. At this point in the story we often meet a new strange character, an ‘initiatory priest’. A guide, teacher, or smith, that provides us with a gift we may or may not have known we needed. A golden thread to weave into the knit.

This week we will be amulet building. We'll be working mostly in pairs to remember the power of a peaceful love. And to exercise those muscles that may tighten when we try to acknowledge that we are in danger and when we try to ask others for help.

You'll have the option to have your made pieces fired, if you would like them fired I'm suggesting a £3 donation to cover the cost of bisque firing. Cheers :)

What to expect:

  • Making with clay

What to bring:
