Welcome to the 2nd edition of our Community Dance bringing local DJ’s & consistently high quality sound to a beautiful space. We're feeling deeply energised by how sound system culture, community building & multi-genre dance can come together in our local eco-system.

Hosted at the MIC, a fresh & flowering community centre at the heart of Buckfastleigh. Powered by Organic Patterns Sound System + Splendiferous Sounds for multiple stacks of powerful, clear, immersive audio.

With the key ingredients potently in place, we are curious to discover how our community continues to shape this event. Welcoming you for who you are, as you are. Sound system culture is here to bring us together and liberate our nature, expression & connection one another.

This dance is drug & alcohol free event. We want to curate dance-floors that foster presence & connection and feel this is a safe, simple boundary in support of that. 

There will be a delicious cauldron of ceremonial Cacao available to purchase at the event supplied by Wild Soul Cacao. Remember to bring your mug with you! 
Neem’s Nosh will also be whipping up some delicious food in the cafe on site.

We welcome families and people of all ages. There is a child-friendly chill out area away from the dance floor if you need some quieter time & space.

Be aware that sound systems can be loud. For some people, especially young children & babies, ear protection may be appropriate.

This event is 100% non-profit and organised voluntarily. Our costs to cover are for use of space and sound system hire. We have made ticket prices as accessible as possible. Any money made will be invested into the next dance.

There are limited spaces available and we anticipate there being very few tickets left on the door so get your tickets ordered well in advance. We will make an announcement as to how many OTD tickets are available close to the day.
