Carrie Tree & Kusñi Love - Music & Magic at Laughton Lodge, Lewes

Nestled amidst the beauty of Laughton Lodge, an invitation to an intimate concert experience on a Winter's night.

Join the captivating voices of Carrie Tree and Kusñi Love for an evening of heart-opening, unique and healing musical poetry. 

After a full year of festivals, ceremonies and adventures, these two enchanting musicians enter the new year returning to Sussex - a place they love, to weave their songs of story, insight, and magic in a cozy, intimate setting. 

✫ Forest Art - To bring the trees inside, we are honoured to have a life-size phenomenal forest painting by Riga Forbes as the backdrop for the music, transforming the space into a living, breathing artwork.

 Feel the connection unfold through heartfelt harmonies, evocative guitar melodies, and whispers of flute, percussion, and piano. Embark on a journey of inward reflection, let your spirit soar with moments of collective singing, and celebrate the depth of this season as the music washes over you.

Laughton Lodge provides the perfect sanctuary for this enchanting gathering. 

Imagine the crackling warmth of a winter fire, the soft glow of candlelight as we connect to ourselves and each other through music.

There will be a refreshments bar available.

✫  Doors open at 7.30pm. Music starts at 8pm. There will be an interval and music will finish by 22.30.

✫ TRAVEL

BUSES FROM/TO LEWES

The last bus is at 11.07 from Laughton, and at that time of night they become hourly, so the previous one is 10.07. From Lewes (Waitrose) there are buses out at 18.49 (getting in at 19.11 for a 19.30 start).

 Its 8 minutes from the bus stop to Laughton Lodge, and you get off at Laughton Manor and walk up the private road that goes through the iron gates, past the wooden bungalows, and along the nurses path. 

The venue itself is Shawfield Laughton Lodge. (We will post a map up here in the coming days).

PARKING

You can park in the carpark near the entrance.  There will be arrow signs both near the bus stop and the car park on the day.

Kusñi Love is a multi-instrumentalist, medicine man, song writer and wordsmith from England. He brings a fresh and mystical style, inspired by a multitude of genres. His music carries a deep and meaningful sound, straight from the heart.

Whether it be the uplifting grooves from his new album 'The Way of the Phoenix' or the soulful acoustic songs with his guitar and voice, there is much diversity to what Kusñi brings.
