Ancient Traditions and the Dying Process.
We are excited to share this beautiful interactive day, exploring the rich path of indigenous knowledge, mystical practices and sacred texts around understanding death. Taking comfort and inspiration from the wisdom of these practices that can bring us on this sacred journey of life.
In a space of deep honouring and respect to to the lineages of wisdom keepers and traditions that have gone before us, we will touch on Shamanic practices for the dying, Yogic wisdom on death and the souls liberation. The sacred and deeply Mystical Anointing practices of the Myrrhbearers and weave this into the remembrance of the Celtic Knowledge around end of life practices of the lands here in Britain.
In this workshop Hannah will support the authentic holding of these threads in a grounded way so that you can then feel supported to step out into your communities with a deeper confidence to be a beacon of love. As we move away from a culture of death Phobia and separation, to an integrated culture of sacredness around death and the journey of the Soul.
Hannah Graceful Dawn is a Shamanka who has studied Rites of passage in depth for over 27 years, weaving it all with her own path of profound healing with coming home to belonging through indigenous pathways.
Hannah was mentored by indigenous grandmothers, trained as a shamanic practitioner in various techniques which included death practices. She runs her own school with her twin sister on Sun Heart shamanism, devoted to conscious living and dying, and is also a carrier of the Path of the Myrrhbearers. These are the women who tend to the dying with Sacred Oils, Hannah runs her own Myrraphore School, offering this here in Glastonbury.
Hannah is from a Druidic welsh bloodline growing up on the Drui Holy Island of Ynys mon and is reclaiming the profound knowledge of the Swan Priestesses and the Drui Anointing oils, She lives in Avalon and is honoured to be a trustee for the Sacred Death Centre in Glastonbury.
Most recently Hannah has gone back to spend more time in India and immersed herself in traditional tantra yoga to support her own conscious death process.
