Bypass the bullsh*t and get back to being humans together. At a Connection Jam, we make space for genuine conversation, playful communication, and real appreciation.

Through a series of facilitated interactions designed to foster instant connection and authentic sharing, you will be encouraged to drop in deeper than the usual patterns of small talk and surface level chat to reveal your more-true self - and be welcomed, exactly as you are.

At Connection Jam, we don’t prescribe what sort of relationships you might create. Friends? Lovers? Bandmates? Business partners? A new running / cinema / boardgame / crochet buddy? It’s all possible! The question is: what sort of connection do you want to make?

This is a safe(r) and brave space that is open to all, regardless of gender, sexuality, relationship status, etc etc. Everything is optional, and you will be empowered in your choice to take part!

What to expect

  • Opening and closing circles
  • Actually good icebreakers
  • Authentic relating games
  • Dancing and movement
  • A yummy selection of teas
  • …and biscuits (obviously!)

What to bring

  • ID / confirmation of your ticket (no need to print!)
  • Bottle of water and a mug for tea
  • Something to sit on (cushion / backjack)
  • An open heart

I really enjoyed my first Connection Jam. I was a little nervous going into it, but Mags and Dan - along with the other lovely participants - created a welcoming space and a fun event with lots of rich connections. I'll definitely keep an eye out for future events.

Connection Jam pushed me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to practice connecting with humans on a deeper level. I really appreciated the level of care and attention you dedicated to us, and the openness of all the other participants. Thank you!

Attending the AR workshop was one of the best decisions I’ve made for self, and I felt blessed and so grateful to be there and hold space with such beautiful beings. Even though at points the workshop was confronting, it felt safe to be real and authentic, and that was such an incredible experience and vibe for me, because authenticity and connection are of high importance to me and something I feel extremely passionate about. The workshop showed me parts of self and expanded my love and compassion for self. I enjoyed holding space with such warm, open, authentic beings. I would highly recommend the workshops and will definitely be looking to venture deeper in to AR and connect further. 🙏🏻
