Creative Sleepover

THEME: Wearable Wonders

We are Amy Cooper and Hannah Kempe, we bonded over skip diving, growing food, dancing and dressing up. We are artists who both love hosting and bringing people together. In the late summer we spent time together at Three Pools Farm and this is what we dreamed up…

You are invited to join us for a big sleepover weekend mixing open space and guided activities to support all our creative juices to flow around the theme of

Wearable Wonders: make something wearable, be in your wonder.

Is there a material that you want to explore being part of you, encasing, draping, entwining yourself? Have you witnessed power in what people wear? Power to attract, repel, protect, disguise? Where will you wear this wearable wonder? Will it last for your lifetime or be worn for a moment before becoming compost? Do you have an item of clothing that needs repair, adapting, adorning refining, to fulfil a desire you have,

Is there an extravagant form you wish to become, become it.

You decide what you want to make and wear , a hat, earring, cloak, skirt, waistcoat, socks, shoes, armour… yes anything…You will make a wonder to wear.

This is an open space to get in the crafting zone within the beautiful living landscape of Three Pools Permaculture Farm near the Welsh town of Abergavenny.

We invite you to join us to…

  • Have your creativity nurtured
  • Cook and eat delicious and nourishing food
  • Be part of an open, caring and creative weekend community
  • Share materials, tools, skills, inspiration.
  • Connect with your own nature, the nature of others and the nature that surrounds us
  • Use your phone solely as a camera and relax into the present
  • Enjoy days exploring, exchanging, walking, crafting & learning, wild swimming & saunaing.
  • Relax into nights of fire, sauna, food, music, stories, stargazing and cosy sleep.
  • Celebrate our creations…

Autumnal Weekend: 8-10th November 2024 (Arrive between 4-6pm on Friday, depart between 4-6pm on Sunday)

A sleepover?

Bring your pyjamas, eye mask, earplugs, whatever you need, you are invited to a sleepover! H & A feel there is something special about sleeping in a room with other people, not closing the door on the world, but sleeping as a pack, a collective, sharing herbal tea and toothpaste, occasional snores, body heat, sleep talks and threads of dreams in the morning.

It isn’t for everyone we know, and if everything else about this weekend appeals except the sleepover bit then please get in touch. There will be two sleepover spaces, the Bunk house has 10 beds in total, 4 double and 6 single. One of the studios will be set up with mattresses and duvets.
