Spring Open Day

Hi! We’re Alice and Dani, mamas looking for a different way of living in contemporary urban society and raising our children in a more wholesome way. We want to be sounded by nature and deeply rooted in connection with other families and we invite you to be part of it!

We are currently building our home-ed village - Rising Rooted Village - where we will provide nourishing separate offerings for home-educating mamas and their children. It's childcare without the childcare, a way of being together while getting everyone's needs met - an antidote to the modern day nuclear family system that leaves many parents isolated and exhausted. Imagine a setting where you ‘drop off’ your child into the arms of aligned parents you love and trust only to be in a cosy yurt tucked away in the same garden to have a morning of circling with others, doing mindful activities, breathwork, parent coaching etc, all while your children engage in fun forest-school style, child-led learning with the rest of the tribe.

This village dream will be launching really soon. This event is our first Open Day of this year - This is where families who are interested in the village and our vision can come and meet the team and other families who have already jumped at the chance to co-create this dream with us.

On Sunday 9th June there will be:
- the chance to hear all about our vision for villaging together, in the gorgeous garden we will be spending our time in
- sharing delicious and wholesome foods, snacks and hot drinks together (on a first come first served basis!)
- stunning live music from our very own host at Future Roots - Rafael Berrio and his band Pollito Boogaloo
- a taste of village life: a nourishing activity for the adults in the yurt space
- children's activities and of course a beautiful space for endless free play :)

The Day Will Look Like This: 

12:00: Doors Open 

12:30: Orientation and Welcome: Round the fire pit

13:00-14:00: Delicious Wholesome Food in the kitchen

14:15-15:00: Mini Circle & Intention Setting in the Yurt + Kids Activity

15:00-15:45: Pollito Boogaloo 

15:45-16:30: Breathwork Session in the Yurt + Q&A round the fire pit  + Kids Activity

16:30-17:15: Pollito Boogaloo...Boogie all the way to the end of the day
