Wild at Heart: Slow dating in nature
Autumn is upon us with the land beginning to settle back into itself. This afternoon is for those looking for romance and connection to keep them warm through the darkening nights. During this tailored afternoon, you will find yourself connected on a deeper level with nature and, who knows, maybe even find a date or two by the end.
Heading out on this journey together might feel daunting to some, but fear not; this experience is designed to be a soft way for us to connect with ourselves, each other, and the natural world.
Ourselves
Gathering together at the beginning of the afternoon, we will start with meditation and breathing exercises in the woods. Following on, we will engage in activities to deepen our connection with ourselves, shifting our perspectives to appreciate the wonders of the natural world.
Each other
Our adventure will continue with a leisurely stroll through the woods, getting to know each other's authentic selves and deepening our connections before we break for refreshments.
More than human
The last part of our journey leads us to games and activities that encourage us to connect with our own wildness and the natural world around us in a magical manner. We'll create art, explore the details of nature, and indulge our senses. This will leave us tingling with the magic of our adventure together.
Facilitator
Red has a diverse background in education and facilitation, hosting nature-focused workshops and community events like Bristol Lovejam. With his passion for meditation and nature-based practices, Red aims to help people embody their animistic nature and live more joyful lives.
WEATHER: This event will be held in the great outdoors and will go ahead rain or shine. Please check the forecast and wear weather-appropriate clothing on the day.
