Please only book for the feast if you have been to a previous Wayfaring workshop - thank you

The journey has been arduous, the path to this place unstable and shifting. And yet, somewhere on it, perhaps deep in the gravelly and shadowy pit, we came across a marvel. We discovered a jewel and swallowed it. Now that we have crawled out the darkness it is time to speak out this jewel to our community. This week we return to the place where we began.

Last week, we began our return, exploring what it means to awake from a divine slumber and to choose to return to a tricky and sometimes alienating society. This coming Monday is an opportunity to share what it is we have learned in this journey and to come together to celebrate in community.

We have travelled to some tricky places in the past few months, humouring discomfort, difficult questions, and contact with strangers and new places. We deserve a big big laugh, a big dinner, and a dance! Now is the time for sharing stories and smiles and celebrating the warmth that together we can build in the deep belly of winter.

This is your opportunity to share something of yourself with the community. I encourage you to feel that resistance and to smile by it. This will be a space of safety, you will be held. Be courageous, challenge yourself, see where it takes you. Each person coming will share something… this could be anything that you feel called to share… a reading of a poem you resonate with at the moment, a piece of free writing you wrote in a session that you found particularly interesting, a type of bread you’ve just learnt how to make, a song that reminds you of friends. Tune into the places you’ve been to during these workshops. Where has it lead you? What parts of that can you share with your community? What gift do you have to share?

This event is open to every one of that has attended a previous workshop. There’s around 40 people, but for now I’m setting the ticket limit for this evening to 20. Please book a ticket as soon as you know you can come, so that I know how many to expect and can plan the evening a little better. When you buy a ticket you will be asked what food / drink you plan on bringing and what offering you would like to share with the community - this is also just so I can organise the evening and fill any foodie gaps there may be!

This week, tickets are totally pay what you can beginning at zero,  all of the proceeds will go to the Glasgow Ceramics Studio and its' community programme which works with charities to offer pottery classes to people in need of some clay love.

Thank you so much!! And look forward to gathering with you wayfarers around the table!!

Cancellations and refunds

If you know you cannot make it, please let me know as soon as you do. There may be someone waiting for a place who would appreciate the notice.

I ask for at least 3 days notice prior to the event for cancellation. I know sometimes this isn't possible. But unfortunately I won't be able to offer a refund otherwise.

Thank you for your understanding ☆

Tickets are pay what you can, if you think you'd find a guide to this helpful I've made one you can access here. If you feel like £12 is tricky and you feel called to come, send me an email.

(There is an obscurity to all this.. which requires an amount of faith and trust in ye intuition.. if it feels too unclear for you to step forward, please reach out to me at mudandroot@gmail.com and I can answer any questions you may have)
