"Excellent, friendly, experiential, thought-provoking." - Thomas

We're extremely excited to have Richard Lang returning for a four week in-person course, at his home in Stoke Newington, limited to just 14 people.

Richard is the world’s foremost proponent of Headless Way and was recently interviewed by Sam Harris on his podcast and now features as a teacher on the Waking Up meditation app.

Four consecutive sessions mean that participants who have already done an evening workshop with Richard will experience many new experiments that approach our True Identity from new angles. (You don’t have to have already done a Headless Way workshop to participate in this course.) You will gain a deeper experience and understanding of this direct way of seeing your True Self.

This course also means that during this four-week period participants will be supported in terms of bringing awareness of their True Self into their everyday lives. They will also meet others who are shining the light of awareness onto the Treasure of their True Self.

I’ve never been on any meditation course (of any type) that involved so many smiles and so much fun - but that was also helpful and fascinating and profound.” - Talulah M.

Headless Way is growing in popularity as an astonishingly simple way to notice fundamental truths about your experience, which for some people can be both thrilling and liberating.

In a series of deceptively simple experiments and awareness exercises, you will have the chance to see for yourself what mystics throughout the ages have always pointed to.

CS Lewis called this approach “a work of the highest genius” and Sam Harris has mentioned it recently in both books and his podcast as a direct way of seeing ‘that makes perfect sense to me.”

The experiments were developed by the philosopher Douglas Harding, who wrote: “Though in essence the same as Zen, Sufism, and other spiritual disciplines, this way proceeds in an unusually down-to-earth fashion.” Headless way claims you are more likely to see who you really are in a few minutes of experimentation than years of years of reading, meditation or traditional spiritual practice.

Instead of these, it uses a variety of simple, non-verbal, fact-finding tests, all of them asking: how do I look to myself?

Richard looks forward to sharing this direct seeing of our True Self.

"This is like studying Non-Dual meditation but without the pain in the butt of long sitting meditation as many of the experiments are active and interactive. Well worth attending…"

"As a vipasana "student" i found this workshop very useful and enjoyable. Will be recommending to all my headed friends :-)" - Mark J.

“I loved it - so simple and transformative, really an incredible gift of instantly changed perception offered through a quick and fun and funny workshop! Thank you Richard and Amir!” - Megan O'Hanlon

I recommend this day wholeheartedly to anyone thinking of going. Richard was kind and full of humour and he really appears to live what he teaches rather than just talk about it in some theoretical way. He's the real deal! What he said and the experiments we did felt both profound and simple common sense. And it was all really good fun. I also enjoyed what the others in the group contributed. I wish I hadn't felt quite so self-conscious so I might've dived in a bit more freely, but that, I suppose is the exactly why I went, and despite that self-consciousness I had moments of cutting through to experience my own headlessness and it was delightful.

The workshop was excellent. Exploring headlessness in a small group setting reinforced the lived experience of non-duality. The experiments were helpful and lots of fun and Richard was an ideal facilitator.
