Introduction to Church for Earth - England 

This is an introductory call to Church for Earth. This call is to share more about the project, its underpinnings, and how we are hoping to go forward together in England and to share more about what we’re hoping to hold at our central gathering.

What is Church for Earth?

We are creating a Church for Earth, as a response to ecological crisis that is sourced in life, soul and anchored at the  heart of community.

Church for Earth is…

A Call

Church for Earth is a call for unity. To come together in response to the crisis we are living through together, to reconnect with what it means to be human, as part of our planet, as part of life.

A Prayer

Church for Earth is a prayer that we are here to live through this, together, that the various challenges we are facing as a collective humanity are a doorway to coming into the most earth-shuddering love, for our planet, for one another, and for ourselves as part of it.

A Fierce Wild Cry

Church for Earth is a fierce wild cry, that we need to take action, locally, nationally, trans-nationally, to protect what of the earth’s habitat we have left, and to rewild and rehabilitate our one planet we call home.

We'll offer some of the key pieces that Church for Earth is offering around community building, offering a soul-led response to ecoligcal crisis, more and various pieces that Church for Earth is offering.
