Introduction to the Medicine Wheel: Exploring the Four Directions

Join us for an enriching one-hour online workshop exploring the Medicine Wheel, an ancient spiritual map of creation and a powerful tool for self-discovery and balance. This session is designed for anyone interested in deepening their connection to nature and understanding their place in the larger cycle of life. It will be a contemporary take on the traditional First People's Wheel influenced by modern psychology as well as honouring the tradition.

During this introductory workshop, we will:

  • Explore the Four Directions – Learn the significance of each direction within the Medicine Wheel and how they represent different aspects of life, seasons, and elements.
  • Introduction to Shamanism – Gain insight into Shamanic practices and how they connect us with the wisdom of the natural world.
  • Experience Creative Expression – Spend time drawing the Medicine Wheel, using art as a means to connect with your inner self.
  • Engage with Drum Medicine – Let the sound of the drum guide you into a deeper state of awareness, harmonizing your energy with the rhythms of the earth.
  • Guided Visualization – Conclude with a guided visualization to integrate your learnings and ground yourself in the wisdom of the Medicine Wheel.

Whether you're curious about Shamanism or looking for a way to reconnect with your inner self, this workshop offers a gentle yet profound introduction to the Medicine Wheel. All are welcome—no prior experience needed.
