Come join us for a magical evening under the new moon, in ceremony with Mama cacao followed by the transcendental vibrations of a gong bath.
New Moon Cacao Ceremony and Gong Bath
Come join us at the House of Moon for a magical evening under the stars. Our New Moon Cacao Ceremony will help you set intentions for the upcoming lunar cycle, while the Gong Bath will wash away any stagnant energy. Let the soothing sounds of the gong relax your mind and body. Allow Mother cacao to open your heart and tune into your deepest wishes for this period of your life.
This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to connect with yourself and others in a serene setting. Don't miss out on this unique experience!
Outline for the evening:
One hour cacao ceremony facilitated by Charlotte Bamber
What is a cacao ceremony? The word ceremony comes from the Latin word caerimonia ‘religious worship’, or (plural) ‘ritual observances’. With cacao, we come together to celebrate and honour the new moon, the commencing lunar cycle and the energies that its brings. An opportunity to reflect on your life and how you want to take responsibility for shifts you wish to make, to honour the divine goddesses of Mother Cacao and the Moon.
One hour gong bath facilitated by Adrian Davies
This upcoming sound bath invites participants to surrender and journey through layers of sound frequencies. The session will begin with grounding and chanting, followed by the soothing resonance of various instruments and bowls, culminating in the powerful vibrations of a 38" symphonic gong. This immersive experience seeks to unlock the therapeutic potential within each of us.
What to bring with you:
*Journal, water bottle, a fruit snack like a banana for afterwards.
*All blankets, yoga mats, bolsters and equipment are provided at the beautiful House of Moon yoga studio.
Important preparation for the cacao ceremony:
*Avoid caffeine and alcohol on the day as these can cause headaches with cacao.
*Avoid eating a large meal before the ceremony. Eat several hours beforehand to allow for digestion.
*If you are pregnant, or on any medication such as antidepressants, please get in touch with charlotte on drcharlottebamber@gmail.com
You can still join, though you may need a lower dose of cacao.
