Rebel Finance School is a free 10-week course on personal finances
(Lots more details here - https://rebeldonegans.com/finance/rfs/).
The 2025 course starts on 2 June at 8pm UK time.
Rather than doing this on your own, you can do it with friends and then we can support each other once the course is over to pursue our financial goals.
Come from 6:30pm to meet and talk to others and share some pot-luck food, then watch the finance course on the ‘big’ screen together, with optionally platonically cuddling - get the oxytocin flowing!
(Alas, Alan and Katie won't be there, they will be presenting from South America!)
This is a fully platonic, clothes on, sober space… and if people don't want to snuggle, just want to connect about finances, that is fine too - consent is paramount :)
Rebel Finance is in its 5th year - last year there were over 60,000 views of week one within 7 days of its release.
Katie and Alan have been awarded British Empire Medals for services to financial education this year!
Join now and take control of your finances! The course is completely free, and there are no upsells, not even an affiliate link. What have you got to lose? And you can potentially find you have a route to freedom.
How is the course free? The Donegans reached financial independence in 2019 and don’t need to make money from you.
We just want to help you take control of your finances. Sign up now, and let’s make this the year you truly get on top of your personal finances.
You can watch this short video to get an idea what this is all about - it is NOT a get rich quick scheme, it's a learn how to manage your money, save and invest sensibly for long term growth.

Why learn from Katie and Alan?
We achieved financial independence at the ages of 35 and 40 years old and have had a huge amount of fun over the last 5 years travelling the world and enjoying our time doing cool things with cool people.
We retired 25 years earlier than the UK average and we did it through learning about finance, investing and managing our money.
DE-E
Event host, connector, trainee cuddle therapist, wellbeing, and finance coach.

DE-E is focused on helping people connect with themselves and each other by creating spaces where people feel safe to drop into their authentic selves.
He believes that by creating spaces with various connection-based activities, in a held environment, it gives people the chance to explore and ask for their desires and to query their past stories and traumas to see what still serves and what it is time to ‘thank’ and let go of to embrace a new way of being.
DE-E's aim is to both follow for himself, and facilitate for others, a journey of continuous learning, exploring boundaries, and pushing beyond them in a contained way to achieve emotional, physical, and relational growth.
He follows interests in wellbeing, mental health, breathwork, cold water exposure, cuddling, playing, play-fighting, sober activities and more and during the summer can often be found in various roles at festivals.
He has hosted cuddle movies in Bristol since 2023.
Volunteering in Ukraine
I will be travelling later in the year to support one of the many rebuilding projects they have running, most likely with this organisation - https://www.bur.org.ua/en/
After I return, I will be giving talks around the experience, with money raised going to support their mission.
#leadership, #teamwork, #resilience ... and also taking part in a 15km tough mudder in May to help raise funds.
If you know of a school or organisation who may be interested, please, do put them in touch.
Please, message for more details, or any questions.
Accessibility and Inclusion
The flat is on the third floor and there is no lift, so attendees will need to be able to climb/descend the stairs. All activities are an invitation: there is a culture of participating in ways that work for you, and participants are requested to be open to accommodating each other's needs.
Neuro-spiciness is welcome - we are all wonderful and unique individuals.
People of any ethnicity, cultural background, class, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, relationship structure, body type, physical ability, neurodiversity etc. are welcome at DE-E's Spaces!
Tickets
Please, do cancel your ticket if you are not able to make it, so that DE-E knows who to expect and to free up a space for someone else as room is limited.
We learnt about financial independence in 2014 but have been working on self-development and making money for more than 2 decades. Katie was an actuary before she retired, and Alan ran Rebel Business School. Alan spent 12 years writing courses on presenting, presence, starting businesses and more. He has delivered workshops for companies like Microsoft, Westminster Council, Oxford University and Henley Business School.
